# sk169238 - SGM pulls file from the SMO even if the etc/xfer_file_list is edited to exclude the relevant file (so that the SMO does not pull it)

## Symptoms

- * When the user edits the */etc/xfer_file_list*, excludes the relevant file (so that the SMO does not pull it), and then does a reboot, the SGM still pulls the file from the SMO,
* When the user edits the */etc/xfer_file_list* , changes are not applied after reboot and remain in the file.
