# sk169155 - The X-Forward-For (XFF): 'Proxied Source IP' field in the logs is empty

## Symptoms

- The field:'Proxied Source IP' is blank for Firewall \& HTTPS Inspection blades, while it appears for Application Control/URL Filtering/Threat Prevention blades.

## Cause

On Firewall blade the rule-base decision is made on the first packet, hence, it does not get to the HTTP headers (where the XFF IP is).
