# sk169119 - Security Gateway may crash with fwk core dump

## Symptoms

- * In Scalable Platforms (Chassis and Maestro), SGMs state goes down and up.  
  This may or may not result in Chassis or Site fail-over (depending on the configuration).
* There may be unexpected cluster fail-overs.
* Cluster members may crash with fwk core dumps (Example: `fwk3_dev_1.12345`).

## Cause

There was a problem in Check Point's Events infrastructure. The Security Gateway tried to re-process an event which was previously processed. During a previous handling of this event, an important context was cleaned up, and the missing context is the source of the crash.
