# sk168712 - VS responds to connection on port 443

## Symptoms

- * VS responds to connection on port 443 and displays a Certificate, but no webpage loads.

* The command "netstat -tpan" does not show any process listening on port 443.

* SmartLog logs show the traffic is accepted on the implied rules.

## Cause

On VSX there is no webUI, therefore there is no web page, if [visitor mode](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk159372) for remote access is enabled on the VS, it listens on more 443 for the connection. This is why the certificate is visible but no webpage is displayed.
