## Symptoms

- * Although there is enough space in the snapshot partition, user is unable to create a new snapshot because there is not enough space in /boot.
* "Cannot create a snapshot, insufficient space in /boot." error message when user fails to create a snapshot in the Gaia Portal / Gaia Clish after upgrade from R77.30.

## Cause

When creating a snapshot, the Gaia OS transfers the relevant files for a snapshot to `/boot/`. There is not enough space in `/boot/`.

## Solution

Free the disk space in the `/boot` partition by deleting unnecessary files. (Deleting unused snapshots will free disk space.)

If you prefer, you can [contact Check Point Support](https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/contact-support/), for assistance in resizing the `/boot` partition.
