# sk168114 - R80.40 VSX and Standalone installation or upgrade using Blink fails on Open Server

## Symptoms

- When installing or upgrading VSX or a Standalone deployment using R80.40 Blink image on Open Server, the following error appears:

Result: Verifier results Package: blink_image_1.1_Check_Point_R80.40_T294_JHF_T48_SecurityGateway.tgz
Clean Install: Installation is allowed. Upgrade: The following results are not compatible with the package:
- Machine's configuration is 'VSX'
```

## Cause

R80.40 Security Gateway installation or upgrade on Open Server using Blink image is supported starting from Take 25 of [R80.40 Jumbo Hotfix](https://supportcenter.us.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk165456).   
However, installation or upgrade on a VSX or Standalone configuration using Blink image is not supported.
