## Symptoms

- * SmartEvent in error state because of TP_CONF_SERVICE.
* General errors: "The process TP_CONF_SERVICE which is monitored by watchdog was detected as being down"

## Cause

TP_CONF_SERVICE should not run, and should not be monitored in versions lower than R80.40.
