# sk167199 - How to disable username/password login for SSH on Embedded GAIA

## Solution

From Expert Mode, run:   

1. vi */pfrm2.0/bin/sshd*
2. Press the "i" key and add '-s' to dropbear command line, should be line 28, should look like "*dropbear -s -F -j -k -p $p -r* ...."
3. press "Esc" key and enter ":wq" to save and quit vi
4. run */pfrm2.0/bin/sshd*

**Note** - This solution is only valid for appliances running R80.20.x and earlier versions.
