## Symptoms

- * Capsule Connect users are unable to connect with error "CCCKMP: Internal error (1008)" when the Security Gateway is running R80.30 Gaia 3.10.
* `$FWDIR/log/vpnd.elg` shows:

  ```
  [vpnd] Calc_Tunnel_instance: peerRange: x.x.x.x - x.x.x.x
  Calc_Tunnel_instance: vpnioctl VPN_CALC_TUNNEL_INSTANCE failed (rc -1, instance -1)
  ```

## Cause

In R80.30 Gaia 3.10 a problem was introduced after Jumbo Take 166 where code related to "Calc_Tunnel_instance: vpnioctl VPN_CALC_TUNNEL_INSTANCE failed" does not run.
