## Symptoms

- * "`Unable to connect to Server. Please make sure that all processes of the server are up and running.`" error in SmartConsole when connecting to a newly installed Management Server.

* Output of the "`cpwd_admin list`" command on the Management Server shows:

  * The FWM process is terminated (the STAT column shows T).
  * The CPM process is running (the STAT column shows E).
* The *$FWDIR/log/fwm.elg* file on the Management Server contains:

`write_using_CPMI_and_add_to_downgrade_hash: Update failed: Illegal name for 'CP_Mgmt_XX' @ 'network_objects' - Object name can not start with 'cp_mgmt'`

## Cause

The Host name of the Management Server contains a reserved word "cp_mgmt".

## Solution

Change the Hostname of the Management Server so it does not contain "*cp_mgmt"*or any other reserved word.
