## Symptoms

- * Compliance blade is not recognizing Windows Defender as Anti-Virus.
* Machine gets restricted.

## Cause

The cause of this issue is a communication problem between the client and the server.
The server sends the Windows Defender's name ("windefender" string) to the client,
but the client expects another name ("win.defender" string). As a result, the client cannot recognize Windows Defender.
