# sk166225 - LocalMachine is not defined automatically on the Security Gateway

## Symptoms

- * After configuring the gateway interface as a DAIP, the LocalMachine object is not updated automatically with the relevant IP addresses, although it should, as it is DHCP.  

* After policy installation there are the following warnings:  

  `
  Status: Succeeded with Warnings`  
  `
  - Dynamic object 'LocalMachine' is used in the policy but not defined on the Security Gateway`:

* Because of the "LocalMachine" object is not updated, all the rules for this object do not work.

## Cause

During the "First Time Wizard", "Yes" was not selected for the DAIP option.
