# sk166194 - Policy installation fails with "Error code 1-2000012"

## Symptoms

- * Policy Installation fails with error:  

  `
  Policy installation failed on gateway. If the problem persists contact Check Point support (Error code: 1-2000012)`  

* When running "fw load_sigs" on the gateway side, users get:  

  # fw load_sigs fw_ciu_manual_update: load_sigs started, process 32551 fw_ciu_load_signatures: fw_cmi_loader_get_load_params() failed Signatures load failed Failed to run update. error: N/A
* Sk154435 (8) removing $CPDIR/database/downloads/ONLINE_SERVICES/ didn't resolve the issue

## Cause

The problem is a corrupted dynamic objects file ($FWDIR/database/dynamic_objects.db):

\[17 Mar 12:20:53\] put in cache: :app_subscription_expiration_date (OBJ_TYPE_DO)  
\[17 Mar 12:20:53\] DYNAMIC_OBJECT\> fw_ip_ranges_all_file_to_cache: Wrong IP type  

For some reason random text has been written to the file dynamic_objects.db (e.g. ":app_sub..."), which caused failure in the function that tries to read IP addresses from the file.
