## Symptoms

- * VPN kernel changes made in the *$FWDIR/boot/modules/vpnkern.conf* file are not set after reboot.

* Setting the value on the fly with the `fw ctl set int` commands works until the next reboot.

## Cause

The file vpnkern.conf has been deprecated in R80.20.
