# sk165794 - VPN C2S gets disconnected in 1500 appliances when the encryption domain is configured manually

## Symptoms

- * VPN C2S gets disconnected when the encryption domain is configured manually.
* The connection drops after a few seconds.
* The logs show drops for port 18234 (the tunnel test packets).
* Changing the encryption domain to auto resolves the issue. <br />
