# sk165684 - SSL Network Extender user is unable to receive an Office Mode IP from ipassignment.conf using an LDAP group - SNX client closes with no notice of an error.

## Symptoms
- * LDAP groups in the *ipassignment.conf* file for Office Mode are not properly authenticated and applied for Mobile Access (SNX) users.
* Remote Access VPN users do not have any issues with receiving an Office Mode IP address via *ipassignment* when using LDAP groups.
* Authenticating the same user via Remote Access and then through Mobile Access (SNX) allows the user to connect, as they would already be properly authenticated.
* When launching the SNX client, the status begins as "Initializing" but the client then quickly closes without notice of an error.
## Cause
For the ssl_vpn realm (used for Mobile Access VPN) and found under "realm for blades" in GuiDBedit, the fetch_type was set to use a custom field called "fetch_options," but the necessary associated fields were not configured.
