# sk165632 - Pre-Upgrade Verifier (PUV) for MDS or MLM to R80.40 fails with message related to duplicate service name

## Symptoms

- * The Pre-Upgrade verification fails with the below message:  

  `

  Multi-Domain database`  
  `
  2`  
  `
  ERRORS To create a working environment, the errors must be fixed`  
  `
  Detect whether duplicate service name exists between the Global Domain and one of the Local Domain servers.`  

  `

  Description:`  
  `
  /mnt/cdrom/obsolete/linux30/p1_install/system/pre_upgrade/PU00375/block_duplicate_service_names ends with warnings.`  
  `
  Full logs can be found at: /opt/CPInstLog/block_duplicate_service_names.elg`  

* Pre-Upgrade Verifier (PUV) failed on the MDS and MLM. The PUV Test error prevented the export of the Multi-Domain database.

## Cause

This is an internal error of the Pre-Upgrade Verifier (PUV) process. This PUV test has only a "Warning" level and not an "Error". It means that even if this test fails, the upgrade will not be prevented.
