# sk165272 - "SmartDashboard component failed to connect to server . Please contact technical support" error message when new administrator tries to open a management network object for editing in SmartConsole

## Symptoms

- * "SmartDashboard component failed to connect to server . Please contact technical support" error message displayed when new administrator tries to open a management network object for editing in SmartConsole
* "SmartLog is not active" message is seen in SmartConsole LOGS \& MONITOR for new administrators.

## Cause

Hardcoded limitation of being able to handle only up to 600 administrators.

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.
