## Symptoms

- $FWDIR/log contains*\*.log_stats* files.

## Solution

The creation of \*.log_stats files is an expected behavior.  

The *\*.log_stats* files are created with log files and are used for troubleshooting / investigation purposes.   

The following is an example of what you would see within the file:  
`Log count: 10264413; Account logs: 8573361 (83%); Logging rate: 381; Account Rate: 318`  

The information can be helpful when investigating a logging problem within the environment.
