# sk165192 - 'IPS stat' command shows Global Detect status as "off"

## Symptoms

- When the IPS Blade is enabled, the '*IPS stat* ' command shows Global Detect status as "off".

## Cause

This will make the Security Gateway status be in detect mode.   

If you go to logs and monitors, you will see that IPS does not drop the traffic. Anti-Virus traffic will drop the traffic, but IPS will let it through.   

The "Global Detect: Off" status for the '*IPS stat*' command is a cosmetic issue. Detect Only is on.

## Solution

A fix for this cosmetic issue is on the roadmap.
