# sk164372 - New Security Group in Maestro deployment is inaccessible via the Management IP after the Security Group Management IP address was configured in subnet 192.168.1.0/24

## Symptoms

- * New Security Group in Maestro deployment is inaccessible via the Management IP after the user configures the Management IP address in subnet 192.168.1.0/24
* Running the '*show interface ethX-MgmtY*' command shows that the IP address is not configured.

## Cause

The issue occurs when the ethX-MgmtY IP is configured with 192.168.1.X.

Gaia configures the 'Mgmt' interface with a default IP 192.168.1.1. Accordingly, when the user tries to configure any other interface (ethX-MgmtY) with an IP address in this subnet, it is internally rejected because of a network conflict (Gaia limitation).
