# sk164318 - "You cannot receive Office Mode IP Address at this time" error on Endpoint Security VPN

## Symptoms

- * Error when Endpoint Security VPN users connect to a VS Gateway: 
  "You cannot receive Office Mode IP Address at this time" or "Failed to allocate Office Mode IP".

* The Secure Client license is sufficient. In *vpnd.elg* , the following example shows that there is a license for 30000 users:  

  `
  [vpnd PID]@VSX-01[DATE TIME] available_om_licenses: sc_lic 30000, sc_unlimit 0, cvpn_lic 10, cvpn_unlimit 0`  
  `
  [vpnd PID]@VSX-01[DATE TIME] available_om_licenses: number of connected users: om_users 168, snx_users 0, l2tp_users 0`

* According to the information in the *om_assigned_ips* table, when the problem happens there are 200 connected clients:  

  `
  # fw tab -t om_assigned_ips -s`  

  `

  HOST NAME ID #VALS #PEAK #SLINKS`  
  `
  localhost om_assigned_ips 384 195 `**200**` 0`  

* The issue only happens on a VSX Gateway, not on a regular Security Gateway.

## Cause

The default setting for VPN Capacity Optimization is 200. This is set in the VS Gateway object.
