# sk164241 - Unable to connect to Mobile Access Portal and see "Exception: Failed to initialize Encryption Key Pair of ICA gateway certificate - CVPND aborting" in cvpnd.elg

- * Unable to connect to Mobile Access Portal.
* #cvpnstart Error:Failed to start CVPND service.
* In *cvpnd.elg* , see the following messages repeated:

* When used "export TDERROR_ALL_ALL=5" to debug cvpnd, found the following:

  \[31 Jul 2:43:06\] db_fetchkey: entering  
  \[31 Jul 2:43:06\] fwCertifiedKey_From_Certobj: No root CA  
  \[31 Jul 2:43:06\] fwKeyHolder_AddNDB: certkey is empty  
  \[31 Jul 2:43:06\] fwKeyHolder_AddNDB: done OK  
  \[31 Jul 2:43:06\] fwKeyHolder_FromNDB: return from fwKeyHolder_AddNDB - OK

## Cause

Imported Root CA certificates are corrupted. In this case, the issue occurs on 2 CAs.
