# sk164217 - "Failed during MDS setup" error during Multi-Domain Management in-place upgrade

* Import log shows:

## Cause

The *export_mds.sh* failed to create the */opt/CPmds-R80/tmp/migrate*directory. This can happen due to several reasons:

1. Lack of disk space  

2. Permissions or ownership to path leading to the migrate folder was changed to something other than **admin:root** or **admin:config**
