# sk164072 - Registration of a new CloudGuard for NSX Gateway service fails with "An error occurred during service creation - aborting"

## Symptoms

- * Registration of a new CloudGuard Gateway service fails with "`An error occurred during service creation - aborting`" when the user enters the password for the management administrator.
* *$FWDIR/log/vsec_config.elg* shows the following:
