# sk163636 - Packets from SSL Network Extender got dropped: "Reason: decrypted and user methods are not identical (VPN Error code 01)"

## Symptoms

- * Traffic from SSL Network Extender client gets dropped with:  
  `
  fw_log_drop_ex: Packet proto=6 10.150.250.131:54300 -> 10.162.210.49:3389 dropped by vpn_drop_and_log `  
  `Reason: decrypted and user methods are not identical (VPN Error code 01);`
* SmartLog shows that traffic arrived from Site to Site VPN peer.

## Cause

Environment: Same Gateway is also used for Site to Site VPN.

SSL Network Extender packetes were decrypted using the MSPI of Site to Site.
