# sk163554 - During provisioning a new VSX cluster member reboots creating a vmcore file

## Symptoms

- * During VSX provisioning for a new VSX cluster, the Gateway reboots and generate a Vmcore file.

* On SmartConsole, the process times out:  

  `Installing default Policy - <Policy_name> on <VSX_cluster_name>...`  
  `
  Successfully installed default policy <Policy_name> on <VSX_cluster_name> `  
  `
  `  
  `
  **** Push configuration for <VSX_gateway_IP> failed`  
  `
  **** Error: timeout detected - machine reverted back to security gateway`  
  `
  `  
  `
  **** Push configuration for <VSX_gateway_IP> failed`  
  `
  **** Error: timeout detected`  
  `
  **** Warning: the current machine state is unknown`  
  `
  VSX Processing Completed with Errors`

* The Gateways are partially converted to VSX but VSX is not fully enabled.

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.
