# sk163481 - Security Gateway drops HTTP traffic as "Non Compliant HTTP" with reason "illegal header format detected: Malformed HTTP protocol name in request"

## Symptoms

- Security Gateway drops HTTP traffic as "Non Compliant HTTP" with reason "`illegal header format detected: Malformed HTTP protocol name in request`".

## Cause

Check Point Security Gateway does not support HTTP version 0.9.

The Security Gateway expects an HTTP version number in the "GET" request (example: "`GET /index.html HTTP/1.0`").

HTTP version 0.9 packets do not contain version in the "GET" request (example: "`GET /index.html`").
