# sk163076 - "Connection with <Gateway_Object_Name> is lost" error after an IP change

## Symptoms

- * The object status periodically changes to "Connection with \<*Gateway_Object_Name*\> is lost" after its leading IP address was recently changed.
* There is no problem with SIC and with policy push.

## Cause

The FWM process on the Security Management/Multi-Domain Management server sometimes tries to send keepalive to the old IP address.
