## Solution

### Introduction

Check Point was awarded a Common Criteria EAL4+ certification for R80.30 Security Management and Security Gateway. The certification was performed under the authority of the Netherlands [NSCIB](https://www.tuv-nederland.nl/common-criteria/certification.html) certification scheme. The Certificate, Certification Report and Security Target are available below, and are officially published on the [NSCIB WEB](https://www.tuv-nederland.nl/common-criteria/certificates.html) and the [Common Criteria Portal](https://www.commoncriteriaportal.org/products/#AC) (under the list of Certified Products, in the section "Boundary Control Devices and Systems").

### Documentation

The Target of Evaluation (TOE) is fully described in the Security Target, and includes claims for:

* Firewall
* IPS Blade Pattern Matcher
* REST API
* Enterprise appliances, TE appliances, Smart-1 appliances, CloudGuard

### Downloads

**Important Limitations:** To obtain the evaluated configuration, the administrator is required to configure the TOE according to instructions provided in the Installation and Configuration Guide. After completion, including installation of a hotfix on the Security Management Server and the Security Gateway, non-TOE functionality will be disabled, and therefore un-available:

* SmartConsole
* SmartConsole Log Server (the TOE supports an external syslog server)
* Online updates
* WebUI
* SSH

This configuration does not support standard jumbo hotfixes. Flaw remediation will be provided through Customer Support via opening a support request.

**The following hotfix should be applied to the Security Management Server:**
