## Symptoms

- * Warning "`Threat Extraction is not working properly`" appears in the **Install Policy Details** window in the **Status** column at the end of the Threat Prevention policy installation.

* The same warning may also appear on the **Device \& License Information** window -\> on the **Device Status** page -\> in the **Threat Extraction** section.

## Cause

During the Threat Prevention policy installation, the Threat Extraction Software Blade examines the Security Gateway parameters to make sure it meets the requirements.

If the Security Gateway does not meet the requirements, the corresponding warning appears.
