# sk162543 -  Fwk process stops working in User Mode Firewall/VSX with "failed to unmap memory" error

## Symptoms

- * In some scenarios, when UserMode Firewall feature is enabled, fwk process crashes with core dump.
* Performance issues on the Security Gateway and may crash without a vmcore.
* In fwk.elg the output "failed to unmap memory" will appeared.

## Cause

Linux system call do_mumap() returns "No Memory" error due to reaching the maximum limit of memory mappings of virtual address areas (max_map_count) in the process.  

The default value:  
vm.max_map_count = 524288
