# sk162053 - SmartConsole crashes when connecting to CMA from MDS with Non English Windows

## Symptoms

- R80.x SmartConsole crashes when connecting to Domain/CMA from Multi-Domain Server using Non English Windows.

## Cause

There is a flaw in the "Whats new" mechanism for the Non English Windows OS environments that causes crash of SmartConsole.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

* [SmartConsole for R80.30](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk153153) starting from Build 1019
* [SmartConsole for R80.20](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk137593) starting from Build 119
