# sk161832 - VRRP cluster is not failing-over, after changing the priority of a Vlan interface

## Symptoms

- * A VRRP failover do not occur when changing the VRID priority of a Vlan interface, using the below Clish command:   
  `
  'set mcvr vrid <VR_ID> priority <Priority>'`  
  The priority of the interfaces remains the same.  
* The physical interface, which VLANs were created from is having an IPv4 address configured:   

  ```
  
  ethX Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX 
  inet addr:0.0.X.XXX Bcast:255.255.255.255 Mask:0.0.0.0
  inet6 addr: fe80::21c:7fff:fe36:4b6e/64 Scope:Link
  UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
  ```
