## Solution

This article explains how to configure Private ThreatCloud (PTC) on Gaia OS in Scalable Platform Appliances. Configurations:
---------------

1. Follow the instructions in [sk110394](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk110394) to configure the PTC on the SMO.
2. In gclish, set the blade range for all members besides the SMO, for example:
   * \[Global\] chassis-ch01-01 \> set blade-range 1_02-2_06
3. In gclish, add the relevant host names to the PTC's IP, for example (172.23.66.200):
   * \[SGM Range\] chassis-ch01-01 \> add host name updates.checkpoint.com ipv4-address 172.23.66.200
   * \[SGM Range\] chassis-ch01-01 \> add host name secureupdates.checkpoint.com ipv4-address 172.23.66.200
   * \[SGM Range\] chassis-ch01-01 \> add host name ptc.checkpoint.com ipv4-address 172.23.66.200
   * \[SGM Range\] chassis-ch01-01 \> add host name te.checkpoint.com ipv4-address 172.23.66.200
   * \[SGM Range\] chassis-ch01-01 \> add host name cws.checkpoint.com ipv4-address 172.23.66.200
   * \[SGM Range\] chassis-ch01-01 \> add host name kav8.zonealarm.com ipv4-address 172.23.66.200
4. Confirm that the hosts are configured on all SGMs using:
   * \[Expert@chassis-ch01-01:0\]# g_allc cat /etc/hosts
5. Change the blade range back to the default:
   * \[SGM Range\] chassis-ch01-01:0:ACTIVE \> set blade-range all

Note: To delete the configuration, do steps 1-5 (use the **delete** command instead of **add**in step 3).
