# sk160513 - Memory leak in VSX running R80.20 and above

## Symptoms

- * fwk process consumes about 20% memory each day.
* The output of `fw ctl pstat` shows increase of memory allocated by the VS, but the smem and hmem values are steady.

## Cause

Some functions related to Asynchronous Q (sending packets between the SND's to the fwk instances), allocate memory and do not release it.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
