# sk159712 - USB-C console connector for Spark Firewall 1500 / 1600 / 1800 / 1900 / 2000 appliances

## Symptoms

- When using USB-C (Type-C) as a console connector on the 1500 / 1600 / 1800 / 1900 / 2000 appliances, Windows OS sometimes does not automatically detect and download the Windows driver required for serial communication with the appliance (or in some cases the PC does not have Internet connectivity). Device manager might show a CP2102N device without driver.

Download and manually install the drivers according to the below:
