# sk157713 - Not enough space in log partition for logs/events after upgrade to R80.x

## Symptoms

- * Not enough space in log partition for Logs/Events database after upgrade to R80.x.
* Not enough space or a an unusual wasting of space in the Logs partition (/var/log/).

## Cause

R77.x SmarLog and SmartEvent databases are not deleted after upgrade to R80.x as their infrastructure was completely changed.

No maintenance mechanism exists to delete them, leaving them to use-up much space unnecessarily.
