## Symptoms

- The output of `pep show pdp all` command on the Identity Gateway (PEP) contains "`inx invalid type (0)`" instead of an identity server (PDP) IP address.

Example:

```
# pep show pdp all
Command: root->show->pdp->all
Source IP                ID      Connect time         Users
============================================================
inx invalid type (0)     0x0     26Jun2019 08:00:00     0
```

## Cause

The identity gateway (PEP) does not recognize the IP address of the incoming connection from the identity server (PDP).
