# sk155752 - PM Daemon restarts the snmpmonitor process every 15 minutes after upgrade to R80.20

## Symptoms

- * PM Daemon restarts the snmpmonitor process every 15 minutes after upgrade to R80.20.

* The following log are showing up in /var/log/messages after in-place upgrade to R80.20  

  `[DATE TIME] HOSTNAME pm[`]: Reaped: snmpmonitor[]  
  [DATE TIME] HOSTNAME pm[]: Scheduled snmpmonitor for +900 secs  
  [DATE TIME] HOSTNAME pm[]: Restarted /usr/sbin/snmpmonitor[], count=49  

* The following command shows snmpmonitor pointing to a previous version library files.  

  `[Expert@HOSTNAME:0]# dbget -rv process | grep snmpmonitor`  
  `
  process:snmpmonitor t`  
  `
  process:snmpmonitor:arg:1 /etc/snmp/snmpmonitor.conf`  
  `
  process:snmpmonitor:env:LD_LIBRARY_PATH /lib\:/usr/lib\:/opt/CPshrd-R77/lib/`  
  `
  process:snmpmonitor:path /usr/sbin`  
  `
  process:snmpmonitor:runlevel 4`

## Cause

* PM Daemon was not updated properly during the upgrade process
