| OS | Gaia |

## Symptoms

- * Policy installation fails on regular Security Gateway or on Virtual System with following error:
  `"A Mix of Virtual Systems and Security Gateways is not allowed by the installed license"`
* Domain Management server is managing both regular Security Gateway(s) and VSX virtual system(s).
* Running 'cplic print' on the Domain Management server shows both of the following types of licenses: DMN (ie. DMN-10, DMN-U) DMN-VSX

## Cause

The issue is that the having both the DMN and DMN-VSX license installed together on a Domain Management server managing both regular security(s) and VSX virtual system(s) is not supported.

<br />

This type of situation can happen when the Domain Management server is originally managing only VSX virtual system(s) with the DMN-VSX license. Then the DMN license is added to the Domain Management on top of the DMN-VSX license, with the Domain Management managing both VSX virtual system(s) and regular security gateway(s).
