# sk154652 - ClusterXL member freezes, crashes, or randomly reboots when <code>fwlddist_buf_size</code> is wrongly configured

## Symptoms

- * ClusterXL member freezes, crashes, or randomly reboots, core dump files are not created.
* When the appliance has 10Gb SFP+ ports freeze randomly.
* in ClusterXL, when the standby member becomes active the traffic freezes.

## Cause

The following Kernel parameter "*fwlddist_buf_size* " was added to the *fwkern.conf*file with higher value that is too large for the ClusterXL environment, and as a result the Kernel memory buffer is getting full, resulting in failed allocations.
