# sk154452 - "Login failed. If the problem persists please contact your administrator" error when authenticating to Captive Portal with a password that is longer than 100 characters

## Symptoms

- When the user tries to authenticate to Captive Portal with a password that is longer than 100 characters, the following error appears:  
`"Login failed. If the problem persists please contact your administrator."`

## Cause

Captive Portal supports passwords of up to 100 characters.

Install the hotfix below to add support for up to 127 characters, which is the limit on Microsoft.
