# sk153952 - Confd on Gaia OS crashes with 'Segmentation fault' when running 'show users' command

## Symptoms

- * When running "show users" from the clish shell, it fails with a 'Segmentation fault' and generates a confd core file.
* Running the command 'show configuration user' from clish, runs successfully without any issues.

## Cause

All users should have at least two bindings: (homedir and shell). If one of these bindings are missing, running "show users" will fail.

The minimal two bindings that need to be present are:

passwd:\<user-name\>:homedir /home/\<home-dir-name\>

passwd:\<user-name\>:shell /bin/bash
