# sk153472 - Database installation fails with "SIC General Failure [ SIC error no. 148 ]" error

## Symptoms

- * "`SIC General Failure [ SIC error no. 148 ]`" error on database installation failure.  

* `"Installation failed. Reason: No SIC name found in the peer object definition, please test its SIC status"` error in `fwm dbload`" debug.  

* cpd debug shows:  

  `
  [CPD ...]@GW[DATE TIME] resolver_gethostbyname: `**Failed to resolve hostname '<HOST NAME>'**   
  `
  [CPD ...]@GW[DATE TIME] resolver_gethostbyname6: Performing getaddrinfo with PF_INET6 for host xxx`  
  `
  [CPD ...]@GW[DATE TIME] resolver_gethostbyname6: getaddrinfo failed. `**reason=Temporary failure in name resolution**   
  `
  [CPD ...]@GW[DATE TIME] CPTA_is_local: confobj not loaded, using fw_is_local: 0`  
  `
  [CPD ...]@GW[DATE TIME] [ERROR] http_client_handle_finished_download: Operation failed. curl returned: Errorcode=56. Error String:Failure when receiving data from the peer`

## Cause

The problem is that CPD is pending DNS requests.

This is caused by Provisioning devices which is trying to fetch policy from CPD and CPD is loaded with those DNS queries which causes clients to get SIC errors and fail to get CPD services.
