## Symptoms

- An Issue with snmp. The customer has four tunnels configured with the same OID.
Two tunnels, although working fine, show "131" value = VPN tunnel is down, while the other two show "3" = VPN tunnel is active.

## Cause

The tunnels displaying 'down' did not receive any DPD (Dead Peer Detection) acks.

The tunnels either do not have DPD setup or are not responding to DPD.

## Solution

Refer to [sk108600 - VPN Site-to-Site with 3rd party](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk108600) (scenario 5) "Permanent Tunnels (Dead Peer Detection) issues"
