# sk151952 - "failed to get MAC magic policy parameters" error when running the 'fw fetch localhost' command

## Symptoms

- * Running 'fw fetch localhost' results in error message:  
  `"get_mac_magic_params_from_policy: failed to fetch cluster ID from policy file fwha_read_boot_conf: failed to get MAC magic policy parameters..."`

* Pushing policy to Virtul System results in SIC error message: `"Not Communicating - Authentication error [error no. 147]"`

* HA module on Virtual system is not starting. Running 'cphastart' results in error message: "HA module not started".

* Cluster ID number, weights not loading/showing up for the relevant VSX module the Virtual System is on when cphaprobe stat is executed.

## Cause

SIC has been lost between Virtual System \& Management server.
