# sk151794 - Centrally distributed license disappears from CloudGuard Gateways

## Symptoms

- * A license attached via vsec_lic_cli or vsec_central_license gets detached randomly.
* In some cases, when the license is attached via SmartUpdate, the issue does not occur.

## Cause

An incorrect decision path causes the Security Management Server to delete the license from the Security Gateways.
