# sk150972 - After changing hostname, locally managed 1400 appliance cannot access WebUI for gateway management

## Symptoms

- * After changing hostname, locally managed 1400 appliance cannot access WebUI for gateway management.
* Receives the following error message when connecting:  
  NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID

## Cause

The WebUI portal's SSL certificate is in conflict with the hostname (because of the name change), causing the browser to reject the connection.
