# sk150674 - Unable to SSH from Check Point to Linux Open Platform server due to missing SSH algorithms

## Symptoms

- Unable to SSH from Management to Linux Open Platform server due to missing SSH algorithms, for example:  

`
[Expert@xxx:0]# ssh hxxxx@172.21.244.25`  

`
no kex alg`

## Cause

SSH version mismatch between the Security Management and the Linux server

* On the RedHat server the following ssh version is running

`[root@xxx-xx- ssh]# ssh -V`  

` OpenSSH_7.4p1, OpenSSL 1.0.2k-fips 26 Jan 2017`  

* On Check Point Server , an earlier ssh version is running

`[Expert@xxx:0]# ssh -V`  

` OpenSSH_4.3p2, OpenSSL 1.0.1p 9 Jul 2015`
